HILLARY DUFF .... Hilary Duff's First Top 40 Single "So Yesterday" Available at Retail on July 29 MTV Adds Video to Playlist This Week July 2003 (Newstream) -- Hilary Duff's first Top 40 single "So Yesterday" was commercially released today. The track was "most added" at Top 40 radio in its first two weeks with major market support from KIIS-FM in Los Angeles and a new add this week by Z-100 in New York for a total of 70+ stations. Duff's "So Yesterday" music video was officially added to MTV's playlist on Monday, July 28 - another first for Duff. On July 26, Duff appeared in "Making the Video," including the world premiere of the "So Yesterday" clip. The video premieres on "TRL" today. The music video was directed by Chris Applebaum. Metamorphosis will be released on Buena Vista/Hollywood Records on August 26.
