"We are pleased that Jerry Seinfeld is returning to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a third time," said Caesars Palace President, Mark Juliano. "It is an extraordinary opportunity for our guests to see a comedic talent of his caliber in such an intimate entertainment venue as The Colosseum."

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Jerry Seinfeld grew up in Massapequa, Long Island. In 1976, he went straight from college graduation to an amateur night try-out at New York's Catch A Rising Star comedy club. He continued to perform in local clubs until his career was boosted by an appearance in a Rodney Dangerfield HBO special in 1976. His stand-up career took off after successful spots on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show" in 1981. He also became a regular guest on Late Night with David Letterman and the Tonight show.

In 1989, Jerry Seinfeld co-created and filmed the NBC pilot, "The Seinfeld Chronicles" for Castle Rock Entertainment. The show later turned into the now classic television series "Seinfeld." The last episode aired in 1998, after nine extraordinarily successful years. The release of the "Seinfeld" DVD with a good deal of added material will be released prior to Christmas. Jerry Seinfeld has just been set to write, produce and star in a feature length animated movie for Dreamworks entitled "Bee Movie."
