 Musiq Gets Two Grammy Nominations

Def Soul Recording Artist, Spokesman for Both Levi Silvertab & Coca - Cola

Musiq to Be Featured on Next Santana Single

January 2003 (Newstream) -- 2003 is already an amazing year for Def Soul recording artist, Musiq. His critically acclaimed 2002 release, Juslisen has just been nominated for two (2) 2003 Grammy Awards, he is the newest spokesman for Coca Cola, he will be featured in Levi's Silvertab Jeans Spring print ad campaign and Musiq is featured on the next single by the legendary Carlos Santana.

Today at the 2003 Grammy nomination announcements, Juslisen, the follow up to his lauded debut Aijuswanaseing garnered nominations for Best R&B Album and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for the lead single "halfcrazy." Musiq has already received numerous accolades including: a 2002 Grammy Award nomination; winning a 2002 Soul Train Award for his single, "Love;" winning a 2001 BET Award for Best Male R&B Artist and nomination for 2002 BET Awards; and two NAACP nominations, among others.

Also on the horizon for Musiq is a Levi's SilverTab Jeans Spring print 2003 campaign. The campaign, shot by Albert Watson, will be featured in stores such as Robinson's May and Macy's. The print ads will be featured in magazines such as, VIBE and XXL.

Musiq's Coca Cola campaign also launches this Spring with two (2) print and two (2) televised ads. Additional artists in this on going campaign include ?uestlove, Amel Larrieux, Aaries and Angie Stone.

Fans will also be able to get their fill of Musiq on the airwaves and video channels. The singer is the featured artist on Santana's next single, "Nothing At All." At the same time, Musiq will launch his own single, the George Harrison penned "Something."
